Syn-Tex has recently developed
a new valve system (patent pending) for its line of Dunnage bags. The new "Qwik-Fill" screw on, screw off system enables Syn-Tex to test inflate every one of its bags prior to shipping and provides customers with the option of using a bag more than once. The re-use of bags can have a major impact on the overall cost of a Dunnage bag program. The new valve system is scheduled to go into full production in September. |

Syn-Tex has begun producing
a line of cost effective de-watering bags (D-Bag) and tubes for a wide range of waste materials. These flexible units are designed for on-site de-watering of high liquid content sediments and sludge, including hazardous and contaminated wastes. Key advantages to these specialized de-watering units are simple hook-up, efficient de-watering and ease of disposal or storage of the dried residuals. Larger or custom designed bags and tubes are also available. |

Syn-Tex is conducting engineering tests
to determine the viability of using specially designed bags filled with water for flood protection purposes. The bags, used in conjunction with, or possibly replacing the traditional sand bag, are inexpensive, utilize a readily available filler (water) and are much easier and cost effective to dispose of once the danger of flooding has passed. Initial results are encouraging. |
